Missouri beats Quad City, 5-3
Game Quick Recap
· The Missouri Mavericks (10-8-2) tied a team record with their sixth straight road win Friday night in a 5-3 victory over the Quad City Mallards. The win was also the Mavericks fourth straight win overall.
· Mavs’ forward Andrew Courtney had a pair of goals and scored in his fourth straight game and Sebastien Thinel had a goal and an assist for his ninth and 10th points in the last four games.
· The Mavericks opened up with a 3-0 lead before the Mallards tied the game at 3-3 early into the third period. Missouri scored the final two goals including an empty net goal for the win.
· Missouri killed the Mallards lone power play chance and the Mavericks went without a single power play in the game. |
