The Kansas City Chiefs continue their tour through the NFC East division on Monday night when they host the Washington Redskins.

The Chiefs were in a 3-way tie for first place in the AFC West last week. Thanks to being the only division team to win on Sunday, the Chiefs are now on top at 3-0. The Redskins are in a 3-way tie for first place in the NFC East this week. The 'skins are 2-1 heading to Kansas City with full steam confidence. Fred's Football Forecast: September 29, 2017

*** Update***
Due to the incident at LSN this morning, this game will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Blue Springs at LS North (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)

Both teams enter this game at 4-2, something many would not have predicted at the start of the season. The Wildcats have beaten both Lee's Summit and LS West and now come back to town to beat the Broncos. Coming in off from a win at Rockhurst shows that Blue Springs have righted their ship and will win this one.

The Kansas City Chiefs are a red-hot team right now at 2-0 to start the 2017 season. The schedule maker has assisted the Chiefs, in that every team they have faced, so far, is a familiar one. The Chiefs were familiar with traditional AFC power New England Patriots, then were very familiar with the Philadelphia Eagles due to ex co-workers being there and much more. This week it's a familiar division foe, the Los Angeles Chargers.

A match-up guaranteed to get people around town talking about it. Both teams come in off of wins over Kansas teams last week. LS North is vastly improved this year and showed that by pushing LS West on the road a couple of weeks ago. LS North's speed will make the difference in the outcome in this latest edition to a wonderful rivalry.

Blue Springs at Park Hill (Wild Card Game of the Week)

Just a crazy good match-up here between the #1 team in the state against a powerful record setting offense playing on their home field. The Wildcats came up short a week ago to a team from Arkansas but will find their way back to the victory column this week as they return to playing a Missouri team.

What I REID Into It: September 7, 2017

The NFL loves a good show, and for the past 7 years, have been hosting a great show with their annual kick-off game which is played the Thursday night before the rest of the league plays on Sunday. Normally, this night is reserved for the defending Super Bowl Champions and another team that is expected to challenge the champions in the new season. NFL Fans can expect another good show in 2017 as the defending Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots get their rings and watch a championship banner be unfurled at their stadium. Across the field will be the Kansas City Chiefs, a team thought worthy of dethroning the Patriots this season.

What I REID Into It: September 2, 2017

Headlines, headlines, everywhere you look are headlines. The defending AFC West Division Champions, KC Chiefs, are expected to make a few headlines themselves during the 2017 season.

Making headlines will be easy to do for the current edition of the Chiefs, what with 6 nationally televised games on their schedule. The Chiefs open up at the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots on a Thursday night. Later in October, the Chiefs host TWO Monday night games. In the middle of the pair of Monday night games is a Thursday night road trip to Oakland and a Sunday night at Houston.
