What I REID Into It: Kansas City Hosts Denver

On Christmas Day, many kids will get presents that involve bouncing, such as a new football or a basketball. On Christmas night, both the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos will try to "bounce back" from a loss the week before. The Chiefs at 10-4 are coming into the Sunday night prime time match up off from a 19-17 home loss to Tennessee.

Meet A Maverick ~ Sam Povorozniouk

One of the brightest spots for the Missouri Mavericks so far this season is a newcomer with a long last name, Right winger Sam Povorozniouk. Povo as his new teammates call him is enjoying his first full year in pro hockey. The man with a long last name currently leads the Mavericks in goals with 6. Sam scored the game winning goals for the Mavs in 2 of their victories on their recently concluded Florida road trip.

What I REID Into It ~ Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos

Winning 5 games in a row and being in a tie for first place in the rugged AFC West division has put the Kansas City Chiefs game with division rival Denver Broncos in prime time. In fact over the last 6 weeks of the season the Chiefs will be playing in prime time every other week. Since the announcement of this Sunday's game being moved to a 7:30 p.m. start the Chiefs saw their 10 game home winning streak end in a 19-17 loss to Tampa Bay. Suddenly the Chiefs are tied for 2nd place in the division and a loss to Denver would drop them to 3rd place.

What I REID Into It: Chiefs vs. Buccaneers

The Kansas City Chiefs are now “PTPers.” That's right, the Chiefs are considered Prime Time Players after their road game at Denver was moved to a Sunday Night Football showcase on November 27. This means the Chiefs will be on in primetime three times in the last six weeks of the 2016 season. In addition to the road game at Denver, the Chiefs will host Oakland on Thursday, December 8 and the Broncos on Christmas night at 7:30 p.m. While all of this is exciting for Chiefs fans, the team's players and coaches know they can't forget the fact there is work to be done this week with Tampa Bay coming to town.

That's What I REID Into It for this week.
