This last Sunday I conducted my
last meeting as District President.The
new President will take over in July.I
would like to thank my officers and chairman for the wonderful job they did
this year.They all worked very hard and
should be proud of the job they did.Thank you to the following:Trudy
King Sr. Vice, Linda Hayes Jr. Vice, Lisa Volkert Secretary, Treasurer Martha
Denney,Conductress Nikki Green,
Chaplain Tammi Kee, Guard Willa Hyde, Assistant Guard Fran Brian, also
all of my appointed officers.
I have two more duties to do
before I leave office which is to go to the National Presidents Visit and to go
to Department Convention in Columbia Mo in June.I know we will all bring home a lot of awards
because we are the fabulous 5th District.
I would like to congratulate the
2010-2011 officers they are as follows:Trudy King President, Lora Dailey Sr Vice, Sheila Zegers Jr. Vice,
Treasurer Nicole Kelly, Secretary Lisa Volkert, Conductress Nikki Green,
Guard Willa Hyde, and all of the appointed officers I know they will do a
great job.
My next endeavor is to run for
State Guard and to hopefully one day be the State President of the VFW Ladies
Auxiliary of Missouri.Thanks to all who
have supported me and who will continue to show me support and guidance
throughout the next few years.
