Mary C. (Riordan) Guthrie

Mary C. (Riordan) Guthrie, 64, of Lee’s Summit, the adopted daughter of Mickey & John C Riordan of Kansas City was born on October 26, 1949. She was the second of two children.

She passed away on January 8, 2014 with members of her family in Chandler AZ, following a long struggle with Lupus and a recent stroke.

A “Guthrie Gala & Celebration of Life” will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Longview Mansion, 1200 SW Longview Pk.Dr, Lee’s Summit, MO.

Judy Darlene Tapscott, Pleasant Hill, MO, daughter of John C. and Viola (Rolf) Meyer, was born October 10, 1943 in Kansas City, MO.

She passed away February 10, 2014 in Lee’s Summit Hospital. At the time of her passing she was 70 years of age.

Evelyn Marie Moshell

Evelyn Marie Moshell, 92, of Lee’s Summit, went to heaven on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Kansas City Hospice House after having a stroke. She was born January 20, 1921 to Charles Lappine and Geniva Hanks.

Funeral service will be held at Langsford Funeral Home, 115 SW 3rd Street, Lee’s Summit, MO, on Saturday, January 18, 2014. Visitation will be at 2pm, service will be at 3pm.

LINDA “LINNIE” WARREN (QUALLS)

Linda Warren left this earth to take her place with Jesus on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born in Kansas City, MO on August 17, 1947 to Robert and Delores (Leftwich) Qualls, who were waiting at Heavens gate to welcome her.  She was previously married to Larry Kauffman and Clay Ancell, but she was lucky to have found true love again and on October 30, 2010 she married Rusty Warren. 

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, at Park Lawn Funeral Home 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.

David Dee Helmuth, Lee's Summit, was born Feb. 28, 1936, in Garden City, Mo., and passed away Jan. 7, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Lee's Summit, after an extended illness.

Memorial service is to be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at Grace United Methodist Church, 2400 SE 50 Highway, Lee's Summit. Visitation is at 9:30 a.m. before the memorial service.
