Alice Mae Weber

Alice Weber, 74, of Lexington, MO passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Lafayette Regional Health Center, Lexington, after a brief illness.

Alice Bears was born March 17, 1938 in Lee’s Summit, MO, the daughter of Floyd and Elizabeth Jackson Bears.  Alice married Harry Weber, Jr. on March 31, 1956 in Lee’s Summit.  She retired from Blue Cross & Blue Shield after 25 years, where she was a claims adjuster.

Mrs. Weber is survived by three sons: Michael Weber and fiancé, Debi Coker, Lee’s Summit, Robert Weber and wife, Marilyn, Waverly, MO and John Weber and wife, Tina, Independence.  Two brothers: Gene Bears, Mesa, AZ and Larry Bears, Kansas City, MO.   There are two grandchildren, Dylan Weber and Kyle Weber. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, on October 23, 2012, her parents, and a sister, Melba Hartley.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville, MO. 

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, MO. (660)259-2245
