He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and community. Bud Spurck helped bring and keep great families, and jobs to Lee's Summit by building high quality homes for 40 years. These homes continue to generate millions of dollars of tax revenue for our schools and the city of Lee's Summit.

Oh Danny, Jiffy, Francie & Jolly - I am SO sorry to hear of Buddy's death! I've been out of contact somewhat & saw it on an e-mail. I didn't know that he had cancer - I truly hope that he didn't suffer long. What a loss for you kids & Buddy's family. I always thought that he was the handsomest guy in Lee's Summit ('cept, of course, you Danny)!
I am leaving SFe, can't handle the altitude & have sold my home & we are "gypsy's" now living in a 5th wheel trailer, full-time. Will be leaving SFe in about a week & go to more sea level where it is cool when it is Summer & some place warm when it is Winter. We will head for San Antonio area for a few months & then on down to South Padre Island for our first experiment.
Call or e-mail so that I can keep in touch. Have thought of all of you so often but didn't bother to contact 'cause you are all such "work-a-holics"! Only kidding.
505 670-9775. Will try & stop in next time I'm in the area. I'm sorry - you guys have all had such losses. I'm thinking of you. xo Karen

Please accept our deepest sympathy. We are so sorry for your loss. Buddy was a wonderful man. We have many fond memories of him when he built our house and during years of Tiger football and wrestling. We will truly miss him. Hugs to you all.

Sadly, I just got an e-mail today, Sept 12, from a neighbor telling me of Bud's death. Please accept my condolences and know that I will, too, remember Bud's great smile just as your picture above shows. Since our connection goes way back to both duplex business and Meadow Lane Elementary for our children, we've all traveled many roads since then. Gladly, our children have a connection with teaching and coaching these days and also used the same day-care for a year or so. Bud was much too young to "pass" so soon. Take care of yourself, Vickie, and know I will send a prayer your way for you and all your family and in-laws. "Kay"

    Vicki,
Please accept my sympathies. Buddy was a really good guy. I know you loved him so much and had so much "real life" together.
Stay close to your beautiful kids.
    Love,
    Ruth M.
