Chason Alan Pennington
, 19, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., was born January 19th, 1991. Chason passed away May 1st, 2010.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, Mo 64055; interment at Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to The Compassionate Friends of Kansas City, 1080 Washington, K.C. Mo 64105-2216.

Chason was a 2009 graduate of Lee’s Summit North High School and was attending Longview Community College. Chase will be remembered for his big heart, infectious smile, and how he loved to make people laugh. His passion for adventure included four-wheeling, wake boarding, snowboarding, and camping.

Chase was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, grandfather, and two great aunts.

Chase is survived by his loving parents Todd & Shannon Pennington; two sisters Taylor & Avery Pennington; as well as his favorite 4-legged friends, Carter & Brady; all of the home. Also surviving are his great grandmother, Hazel Pennington of Dayton, Ohio; grandparents Cheri Pennington of Kansas City, Mo; Jeff & Marilyn Mann of Independence, Mo.,; Robert E. McDowell; uncles & aunts Frank & Tricia Cardello of Independence, Mo.; Jeremy Pennington of Kansas City, Mo; and Sean & Stacey McDowell of Independence, Mo; Erin McDowell Perez; his best friend Austin Gardner; several cousins and many friends.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the love, support, and prayers. Chason’s favorite Bible verse is Psalms 23.
