Dennis “Butch” Wayne Williams

Dennis “Butch” Wayne Williams, 68, of Lee's Summit, passed away June 4, 2014 at Lee's Summit Pointe Health and Rehabilitation. He was born August 3, 1945 in Jackson County, Missouri. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Williams, and is survived by a son Greg Williams of Lee's Summit and granddaughters Breanna Nichols of Bonner Springs, Kansas and Haley Williams of Basehor Kansas and by great grandson Bentley Nichols of Bonner Springs, Kansas. 

Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. To 8:30 p.m. On Saturday June 7 at Langsford Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Lee's Summit Cemetery. 

Dennis graduated Kingsville High School and moved to Lee's Summit where he was employed at Western Electric for 30 years and was secretary and treasurer of CWA Union. He was a member of the Ararat Shrine, Yoshi Shrine Club, Rockets Shrine Club, and an active member of the Ole Cars Shrine Club. He was a past president of the Lee's Summit Soccer Association and spent many years coaching soccer youth. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
