Jeff D. Shireman age 49 of Lee’s Summit Mo. Passed away on Saturday August 14, 2010 in Jefferson City, Mo.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 18, 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church 130 NW Murray Road, Lee’s Summit Mo. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 at the church followed by burial in Lee's Summit Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Our Lady of the Presentation Parish in Jeffs memory or The Shireman Children's Education Fund.

Jeff was born November 8, 1960 in Kansas City, Ks. In 2006 Jeff became a member of Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church. His involvement with the church included many hours of love and support. His face and presence will be remembered by all the lives he touched. Jeff owned Summit Carpet Care for 18 years. He was a well respected business owner that touched the lives of many. Jeff is also a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a well respected member of Lee’s Summit Chamber, the Greater Kansas City Water Society.

He was preceded in death by his step father, Artie Shireman and a brother Artie Shireman II

Survivors include his wife of 4 years, Diane Shireman. Sons, Dakota Shireman, Dayton Shireman, Brian Cavender;  Daughter Rebecca Cavender. His mother, Betty Shireman, Father Joe Ruiz. Sisters Debbie (Mike) Vega,  and Laurisa Romay. Mother and Father-in-Law Delbert and Lucille Krummen. Brother and Sister in laws Linda (John) Rechtin, Karen (David) Purdy, Debbie Whittaker, Larry (Gina) Krummen.
He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and a large extended family of friends, customers and church family.
