JoAnne B.R. Frazier

JoAnne B.R. Frazier, 68, Independence, Mo., passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010, at the K.C. Hospice House peacefully from the arms of her loving family to the arms of the Lord.

JoAnne was born in Kansas City, Mo., on June 14, 1942, to Earl and Elsie Sandridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Willard, Wesley and Hubert Sandridge and a sister, Delpha Gallucci.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ira Frazier, Independence; her children, Todd and Carol Frazier, Independence, Tony and Cindy Frazier, Columbia, SC, and Mary and David Hoffman, Lee's Summit; brothers, Bill, Woodie and Ed Sandridge, Kansas City; and sisters, Louise Young and Lois Bowen, KC; and seven wonderful grandchildren that she called "The Magnificent Seven."

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at Lee's Summit United Methodist Church, at the corner of Second Street and Douglas, (816) 524-4966. Any flowers for JoAnne are to be delivered to the church. Memorials can be given in JoAnne's name to the American Cancer Society  or KC Hospice. Arrangements are through Langsford Funeral Home, 115 SW Third St., Lee's Summit, MO 64063 (816) 524-3700.
