Clifford Lee Hartley

Clifford Lee Hartley, 85, passed away October 31, 2016 at John Knox Village Hospice House. 

Services will be Friday November 4, 2016. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. with the service at 2 p.m. at Langsford Funeral Home.

Eldon Lee High

Eldon Lee High, age 79 retired owner of Eldon High Construction and Eldon High Building Company died peacefully at home October 28, 2016 following a short illness.  

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2 from 10:00 am-11:30 am at Lakeland Community Church, 913 NE Colbern Road, Lee's Summit, MO. 64086, with the funeral to follow. Burial will be at the Lee's Summit Cemetery.

JEROLD LEE “Jerry” QUICK, Sr.

Jerold Lee “Jerry” Quick, Sr. was born June 15, 1943 in Vancouver, Washington and departed this life on October 12, 2016 at the Jefferson Health Care Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri at the age of 73 years. He was the son of Thomas and Hattie Neva (Wallace) Quick.

John W. Manley

John W. Manley, age 67, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away on August 23, 2016, at St. Joseph Medical Center. 

Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, with visitation from 1-3 p.m. at Cullen Funeral Home. A private family inurnment will take place at the Belton Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

David B. Melugin

David Bruce Melugin, 69, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 24th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.  

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church, Blue Springs.

James Joseph Pochop

James Joseph Pochop, 20, of Anchorage, Alaska, died unexpectedly August 10, 2016. 

A prayer service was held Monday, August 15, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish in Anchorage, Alaska. 

Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 20, 2016, at St. Joseph's Catholic Parish in Wall Lake, Iowa, at 10:30 a.m.  

Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. with a rosary at 10:00 a.m. The Farber & Otteman Funeral Home of Wall Lake is in charge of arrangements.

MARIAN GRACE HUDSON

Marian, 86, of Lee's Summit, MO ended her struggle with cancer on August 12, 2016. 

The funeral will be on August 17, 2016 at 10:30 at the First Presbyterian Church, 1625 NW O'Brien Road, Lee's Summit, MO 64081.  

Her graveside service will be at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery on Aug. 18.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
