Paul Insik Kwon

Paul Insik Kwon, 63, Lee's Summit, MO, died Nov. 8, 2010. Services will be at 2 p.m., Sat., Nov. 13, 2010, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO; interment at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Korean Antioch Church Scholarship Foundation, 2737 S. 42nd St., Kansas City, KS 66106-3950.
Paul was born Sept. 5, 1947, in Seoul, South Korea. He graduated from Youngin University in Korea and is a veteran of the South Korean and United States Armies. He was a businessman who owned Blue Ridge Cleaners and Korean Restaurant Sobahn in Overland Park. He was a very active member of the Korean Antioch Church of the Nazarene where he served as an elder and choir activity director. In his spare time Paul enjoyed playing sports: judo, golf, tennis and soccer. He also loved music.
Paul is survived by his wife of twenty- eight years Susana Kwon; daughters Sharon Kwon, Susan Kwon, all of the home; brother Moonsik Kwon; sisters Kyong Ok Kwon; Kyong Suk Kwon and Jung Ok Kwon, all of Korea.
