Stephen Lee Hutinett, 52, Greenwood, MO passed away June 30, 2011. Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church,1800 SW State Route 150, Lees Summit, Missouri 64082.

Following the visitation there will be a Mic-O-Say Memorial Service 7p.m. to 7:30 p.m.. and The Elks Lodge at 7:30 p.m.

Rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m.Thursday, July 6th with Mass to follow at 10:00 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, MO. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts, Heart of America Council, Campership Fund.

Steve was born March 11, 1959 in Kansas City, MO. He's a 1977 graduate of Raytown South HS and attended Longview Community College. Steve had a lifelong involvement with Scouting. Steve was an Assistant Scout Master Troop #54, an Eagle Scout, member of The Tribe of Mic-O-Say,
"Keeper of the Sacred Bundle Many Osage Drums."

He was the former Exulted Ruler of The Elks Lodge #2088. Steve was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and a drummer for the Dan Riggs Big Band.

Steve will be remembered for; his love and passion for his family, his love of music, trains and railroad history, the outdoors, his country and the Chiefs.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Hutinett. Survivors include; wife, Sharon, of the home; mother, Peggy Hutinett, Raytown, MO; daughters, Jessica Hutinett- Metz, Lee's Summit, MO, Catherine Hutinett and Emily Hutinett, of the home; brother, Paul (Lori) Hutinett, Blue Springs, MO; sister, Jennifer (Allen) Underwood, Raytown, MO; beloved dog, Princess; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

    Please...this amazing man,,,,husband and father did not have to loose this life like this if your State has taken our recommendations back in 2009!
    Go to www.dangeroustrailers.org and take note...if jet engines from airplanes kept falling out of the sky over, over, over, and over again. and nobody did anything then it would be outrageous.
    Anybody can build a "Homemade Trailer" but you can't build a "homemade Baby Seat.
    No Standards for a trailer hitch, no standards for a trailer at all....and Farmers Insurance knows this as well as the Utility Trailer Companies that keep trying to prevent our life saving information from educating the public,
