Tommy Smith

Tommy was born on October 5, 1941 in
Blytheville, Arkansas.
He passed away on December 14, 2012.
He and his family moved to Lee’s Summit in 2003.
Tommy was a retired employee of Union Pacific Railroad and an Army veteran. He spent his retirement with his family, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tommy and Alice had been married for 48 years.
He is survived by his sister Nancy Grissom; wife Alice Smith; daughters Juliette Smith and Margie Smith; grandchildren MaryAlice Nikolaisen, Connie Hill, Emily Hill, Matthew Hill, Benjamin McNew, Anthony McNew, Brendan Fromme, Baylor Fromme; and his great-grandchildren Melanie Nikolaisen, Eva Nikolaisen, and Mason Christiansen.
Service were held on December 18, 2012 at Langsford Funeral Home. Tommy’s ashes will be scattered over his favorite deer hunting spot in the Flint Hills.
