Be the Blessing: What a year 2013 was!

January 4, 2014

By Tina Chandler

What a year 2013 was!  But every single second of it is now history.  Dwell?  Remember?  Lament?  Rejoice?

Time to move forward.  Time to make a plan and stick to it.  Time to put the lessons learned into practice and get it “righter” than before.  Time to….

What have you learned, really learned?  Were there any hard lessons this year?  Did you have to sacrifice?  Did you have to do without something that seemed irreplaceable?  What did you gain from that sacrifice?  Think about that.  It may seem like you didn’t really gain anything, but I bet you did.  Maybe it was perspective, a different view, a new meaning, renewed appreciation. Maybe it was the idea of “I will never do that again”!  Whatever the lesson, the learning is realizing that there really was a lesson.  You may not have wanted to learn it, but there was a lesson. Rethink those moments. Do you see them differently today? Go ahead and reconsider the moment.

Perspective and application are everything!
