Candidate Rebecca Roeber Calls On Bob Johnson To Denounce Pro-Abortion Endorsement
July 21, 2014
With less than three weeks until the Republican Primary for the 34th District, conservative State Representative candidate Rebecca Roeber has called on her liberal Republican primary opponent, longtime Jackson County politician Bob Johnson, to denounce his recent endorsement from the pro-abortion group, Planned Parenthood.
“The Republican Party is the party of defending life but Bob Johnson clearly doesn’t share our commitment to defending the unborn,” Roeber said.
“I am 100 percent pro-life and will do everything I can to protect life in the Missouri legislature.
Unfortunately, Bob Johnson sought and received the endorsement of a liberal, pro-abortion group that was instrumental in electing Barack Obama.
I call on Bob Johnson to denounce the group’s pro-abortion agenda and their endorsement of his candidacy or explain his position on the issue of protecting life.”
The endorsement can be found at: http://ppakm.org.
Roeber is 100 pro-life and has received the sole endorsement of Missouri Right to Life. She is married and has 2 children. Roeber retired last spring from 17 years as a classroom teacher in a public school.
She has served as a Republican committee woman, is the treasurer of the Jackson County Republican Club and current secretary of the Jackson County Republican Committee.
By Committee to Elect Rebecca Roeber
