Graves Statement on Explosion at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant

April 11, 2017

U.S. Representative Sam Graves issued the following statement in response to this afternoon’s explosion at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, MO. There was one fatality and at least three people injured in the tragedy. (Editor's note: four confirmed injured.) 

“My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by today’s tragedy at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. I will continue to monitor the situation as we learn more details.”
