Cub Scout Pack 54 Conservation Project

April 19, 2014

Cub Scout Pack 54, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Lee’s Summit, MO, recently adopted a roadway in South Lee’s Summit near their meeting location. Pryor Road from Hook Road south to Missouri 150 has been adopted by the group to regularly clean and maintain.

On Saturday, April 5, several Cub Scouts and their parents did a conservation project and roadside cleanup of the adopted stretch of road. The boys learned the importance of not littering and of recycling to protect our environment and keep our area beautiful.

Neighbors in the area were very appreciative of the boys work. Several bags of debris were collected during the event.
