7:00 a.m.
Heart of America Council of Boy Scouts is sending 144 scouts with 16 adult volunteers to the Boy Scouts of America's National Jamboree this summer. The Jamboree is being held at Fort AP Hill, Virginia.
This
group is divided into four troops. Most of the attendees for Troop 1134
are from the Southeast part of the metropolitan area (many actually
live in Lee's Summit).

By John Burre, Jamboree Scoutmaster, Troop 1134 Parents: At long last we are off. I really appreciate everyone being there on time. Current we are at mile marker 52. Our first stop was at Adams Dairy to reboot the bus (minor computer issue). Even buses are controlled by computers now.
