For the 22nd year in a row the Jackson County Parks and Rec Department celebrated Christmas In the Sky at Longview Lake on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

More than 100 singers and dancers from Monica’s School of Dance in Lee’s Summit, performers from the Southside Singers from Olathe South High School and local recording artist Crystal Clayton provided entertainment for the crowd.

Santa Claus arrived to present “The First Gift of Christmas.” A synchronized fireworks and holiday music spectacular completed the festivities.
