The Lee’s Summit Police Officer’s Association 35th Annual Shop With a Cop event held on December 21, 2022 has concluded with great success.

Several LSPD Officers were able to directly shop and assist 13 LSR7 students. In addition, the event further assisted two more LSR7 students who were unable to participate and one identified Lee’s Summit family in need.

The success of the event was possible through an outpouring of community support that included donations made to the Lee’s Summit Police Officer’s Association from multiple local businesses, citizens and anonymous donors as well as all of the volunteers that assisted with wrapping the gifts that included LSPD Officers, their family members, friends and students within the Lee’s Summit Police Department’s Explorers program.
