The American Legion District 5, VFW District 5, DAV, Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, Muehlebach Funeral Care and the Catholic Cemeteries of Kansas City-Saint Joseph are presenting the Annual Kansas City 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 at the First Responder Memorial in Mount Olivet Cemetery located at 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd. in Kansas City.

Special guest speakers will include Master of Ceremonies Mark Alford from Fox 4 News, Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas and Barbara Haynes-Jenkins – sister of a 9/11 victim. Also featured will be music by the American Legion Band.

The event will also be livestreamed on the Muehlebach Funeral Care Facebook page.
