Congratulations to Thomas Lucas from Lee’s Summit West High School on receiving the Senior Young Professional of the Month award through the Cass Career Center.

Thomas earned the recognition for his professional growth, leadership and friendliness. He’s developing workforce skills in the Agriculture & Fire Science programs at the Cass Career Center, which works in cooperation with LSR7 career education to provide LSR7 students extra opportunities to build career & tech skills.

His nomination included this praise: “As a firefighter, I would go into a building with Thomas any day,” from Bill Shaumeyer, Fire Science Instructor.
