The City of Lee’s Summit Cultural Commission seeks to commission a local professional muralist to design and complete four 8 feet wide and 10 feet high artworks for the City Hall Public Garage.

These works will be situated on the walls of the parking garage located next to City Hall. The artwork should be inviting and creative. It will be an addition to multiple public artworks that will be chosen for Green Street

While not mandatory, potential themes could include the agricultural history of Lee’s Summit, affirmations, fruit and market-inspired designs or site-specific works.

The artist will receive a stipend of up to $15,000 and must reside in one of the following counties, Jackson, Platte, Clay and Cass in Missouri, or Wyandotte and Johnson in Kansas.
