Coach Hughes exchanged his blue, gold and white Eagles shirt for crimson, silver and black. He traded the Ruskin Golden Eagles for the Lee’s Summit Broncos.

After winning three conference basketball titles in a row, Ray Hughes made a strategic move to Lee’s Summit North High School as the head basketball coach.

He will be missed at Ruskin High School this year. The new head basketball coach is Marcus Whitney. He is an alumni of Ruskin.

Coach Michael Weier, the Athletic Director for Ruskin High School is convinced that Coach Ray Hughes will do a fantastic job at Lee’s Summit North High School, just as he did for Ruskin High School.
