Congressman Emanuel Cleaver recently announced the 2023 Congressional Art Competition winner for the 5th District of Missouri William Brown and his piece entitled “Blue Slumbers.”

Smith is a 2023 graduate of LSR7 and plans to pursue art education at Missouri State in the fall. His work will hang in the U.S. Capitol for a year
