There is a special opportunity to support Lee’s Summit Social Services for an upcoming fundraising event, Cornhole for a Cause on Saturday, Oct 12 at 11 a.m. at Paragon Star: Field 9, Located at 1401 NW River Road in Lee’s Summit. This event will benefit two outstanding local Lee’s Summit and Kansas City nonprofits: Lee’s Summit Social Services and Rings of Care.

Sign up your team. Everyone wins a prize. The winning bracket wins a prize. There will be throwing raffles with teams tossing hard boiled eggs, ping pong balls or water balloons.

In addition to cornhole fun, there will be a cornhole board auction, art sale, face painting, a balloon artist, caricatures, a dunk tank, DJ/MC, and a 360 photo booth.

Lee’s Summit Social Services became a non-profit organization in March 1992. Their mission is to provide comprehensive support to low-income families and individuals in the community. Services encompass basic necessities such as food, financial aid for utilities and rent, clothing assistance, medical supplies, and prescriptions.

Rings of Care is dedicated to empowering and uplifting caregivers by organizing those in their own community. Creating a strong support network that empowers caregivers with the resources, assistance, and emotional support they need to provide exceptional care while maintaining their own well-being.
