The LS North Broncos boys basketball team is the 2024 Phog Allen Invite Tourney Champions. The Broncos defeated North Kansas City 76-70 on Saturday, Dec. 7 to claim the title. The Broncos are 4-0 so far on the 24-25 season.

LS West Titans girls basketball team is the Winnetonka Gold Division Tourney Champions. The Titans beat St. Joe Lafayette on Friday, Dec. 6 to claim the title.

The LS West Titans boys basketball team finished the three game Arvest Classic held in Springfield, MO with a game against Raytown. The Titans lost 57-53 to the Blue Jays. The Titans are 1-3 and will not return to the court till Tuesday, Dec. 17 when they host Park Hill.

LS West Girls wrestling competed in the Fort Osage Battle of the Braids Scramble on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

All three LSR7 wrestling teams were in action on Wednesday, Dec. 11 inside the LSHS Fieldhouse competing in the City Championships. Both boys and girls teams competed for the City Title.

LS North Broncos boys wrestling team will be busy hosting a two-day wrestling event on December 13 and 14. A total of 15 teams will be competing including rival LS West.

The Summit Christian Eagles basketball teams visited the Kaufman School on Tuesday, Dec. 10 for a boys/girls doubleheader. The Eagles Boys won handily 90-33 to improve to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles Girls won easily 52-6 and saw their record improve to 2-2.

The Summit Christian Eagles boys wrestling team is set to take a road trip to Topeka, KS on Saturday, Dec. 14. The Eagles will be at Highland Park High School for a dual inside the Ken Darting Gymnasium.

The Lee’s Summit Tigers boys basketball team, coming off from a 52-47 season-opening win over Rockhurst, head to the St. Louis side of the state for the three-day Webster Groves Tourney. The Tigers will play three games from Dec. 12 – 14.
