Door Systems of Lee’s Summit has donated $2,000 in QuikTrip gift cards to the officers and staff at the Lee’s Summit Police Department, providing approximately 200 employees with a $10 QT gift card. With the onset of COVID-19, the pandemic, the recent presidential election, and escalating violence throughout the country, our officers are shouldering an enormous challenge in-the-midst of an overwhelming crisis. Jim Payne, owner of Door Systems Lee’s Summit, found a way to reach the group at large but with a personal touch.
QT gift cards will allow each recipient a variety of individual options. From lunch-on-the-go to coffee, gasoline and a well-deserved snack, QuikTrip has something for everyone. With 870 locations across 11 states and 230 cities, QT provides easy access for local and traveling workers across the Midwestern, Southern, and Southeastern United States as well as in Arizona.
“We wanted to bring a little convenience and express a big thank you to our Lee’s Summit Police Department. It’s a gesture we hope will bring a smile and serve as a reminder of how much we value what our officers and the police department do for our community.” – Jim Payne
