At about 2:36 A.M., Friday morning (October 12, 2018) Raytown Officers responded to an area hospital on a male with a gunshot wound. It was later determined the injury occurred in the 6400 Block of Raytown Road.

Upon the officers’ arrival, the male stated he was walking on 64th Street at about 12:30 A.M., when he was approached by an unknown suspect and heard a loud bang and later discovered that he had been shot. He later arrived at a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries for treatment.
