At about 5:59 A.M. Tuesday (March 12, 2019) Raytown Officers responded to the 11700 Block of E. 83rd Street in response to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased 44 year old female and a 49 year old male inside of a home, both with apparent gun shot wounds.

Officers also found a third, 45 year old male whom had also been shot, but was alive. He was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.

The Raytown Police Department Investigations Bureau was notified and responded to the scene. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was contacted and will be assisting with the process of the scene, and the Raytown Police Department Investigations Bureau will be handling the case.

The incident appears to be domestic in nature and there is no apparent immediate danger to the public.
