First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit is again excited to offer a free Christmas Dinner to the community. Last year they provided almost 500 meals.

The food is prepared by a professional chef and includes turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, a roll, and dessert.

On Christmas morning, two options are available: If you need delivery, the church is happy to do that in Lee’s Summit, or within 10 miles of downtown. Call the church office at 816-525-0700 by Monday, Dec. 20 to get on the delivery schedule. Secondly, they offer drive through pick up between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. (or until all the food is gone).

The church is located on Douglas St. near 2nd St (2 NE Douglas St., Lee’s Summit 64063. Pick up is in the parking lot behind the church. No reservation is needed for pick up; just drive through to pick up you meal(s).
