The storm we had was a horrible mixture that left everyone with a thick coat of ice on sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and our streets.

It was very difficult to deal with and the icy crust was impossible for our plows to deal with and the temperatures too cold for treatment to work well if at all. Only main roads with traffic cleared more quickly.

I am happy to report that with a little help with Mother Nature and our Public Works plowing off the ice today that finally turned to slush, our roads are cleared.
