In compliance with Jackson County Phase 2 Reopening, shelter and field rentals are now open to the public, with restrictions.

These directives will be posted at each public entrance to the baseball fields and shelters with the parks. It is important patrons read and adhere to these restrictions.

Playgrounds are closed during Phase 2, as well as bathrooms, water fountains and concessions. They are working on plans to have portable bathrooms with hand sanitizer stations at Hitt Park by the end of the week. They will be cleaned/sanitized within Phase 2 restrictions. Groups of no more than 50 persons can rent each shelter/field at a time, and must maintain social distancing protocols within the Jackson County Phase 2 Reopening plans.

Drop off with payment in the City Hall drop box. They do have several field rental contracts pending, so please call/email with schedule questions for baseball field rental requests at 816-537-6969 xt 105.
