He brings a wealth of financial management expertise and broad knowledge of HCA Midwest Health to Lee’s Summit Medical Center, having served in various ACFO, controller, and accountant capacities throughout the health system during the past 16 years. These include roles at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, Belton Regional Medical Center, and the HCA Midwest Health Division office.
“I’m excited to welcome Steve to Lee’s Summit Medical Center and its senior leadership team as the hospital continues to make investments in its facilities, services, people, and the community to meet the growing healthcare needs of the area we serve,” said Lee’s Summit Medical Center CEO Gabe Clements.
“Steve’s financial management experience in health care will be an invaluable asset as we continue to contribute to the health and well-being of the community with growth in services, like the new CareNow® Urgent Care in Grandview, the first urgent care clinic to serve the area,” said Belton Regional Medical Center CEO Todd Krass. “A valuable member of our team, Steve is dedicated to financial and operational excellence, and this is a well-deserved promotion for him.”
“I’m excited to join the dynamic team at Lee’s Summit Medical Center as CFO and honored to continue my work at Belton Regional Medical Center in a different capacity,” Sahr said. “Working in healthcare finance is rewarding, especially as these hospitals continue to evolve with innovative services and increased access to high-quality, compassionate patient care.”
Sahr earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, and his MBA from Webster University in Kansas City, Missouri.
