The Raytown High School Jaywalkers and Raytown South High School Cardettes both earned top honors in the Missouri State Dance Team Association’s State Competition, Feb. 29 at the HyVee Arena in Kansas City, MO.

The Raytown High School Jaywalkers earned first place in their division for their prop routine, and third place in their division for their hip hop routine.

Jaywalkers Breanna Dubbeld, Alexina Goold, Amanda Hugh, and Molly Pieratt, received Academic All-State honors.

The Raytown South High School Cardettes earned fifth place in their division for their jazz routine. Cardettes Christina Brown and Candace Hayes received Academic All-State honors.

The Raytown High School Jaywalkers are coached by Carlie Kuhnhenn and Courtney Minnick.

The Raytown South High School Cardettes are coached by Renee Schleicher.
