Lee’s Summit City Hall, 220 SE Green St., and Lee’s Summit Municipal Court, 10 NE Tudor Road, will be closed on Monday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation’s (LSPR) main office located inside City Hall will be closed on July 4 and many of their facilities will either have reduced hours of operation or will be closed on Independence Day (Monday, July 4).

• Legacy Park Community Center (LPCC), 901 NE Bluestem Dr., will be open from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fri., July 1 and Mon., July 4.

• Gamber Community Center, 4 SE Independence Ave., will be open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 4.

• Harris Park Community Center, 110 SW Blue Parkway, will be closed July 4.

• Summit Waves, 120 SW Blue Parkway; will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on July 4.

Animal Control, 1991 SE Hamblen Road, will be closed on July 4 and will re-open on July 5 with regular hours of operation. If you have an animal emergency on July 4, please call 816-969-7390.
If you need to make a payment on your Water Utilities bill on July 4, please call our Secured Telephone Payment System at (816) 969-4636 or utilize the online payment system at utilitylink.cityofls.net. If you need to report a water or sewer emergency, please call Fire Dispatch at (816) 969-7407.

These facilities will have normal hours of operation after the holiday.

Essential public safety services, such as police and fire protection, will not be impacted by the holiday.
