Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is excited to announce that Mrs. Kimberlee Gill, Mrs. Charissa Sanders and Mrs. Julie Madsen will begin new roles starting in August.

Mrs. Gill, who will be starting her 15th year at SCA, will remain the Early Education – 12th grade Academic Dean, however will be in this role on a full-time basis. As Academic Dean, she will continue aligning and tracking SCA’s educational programming, ensuring that the school is functioning across all subject areas at the highest level possible through the development of strategic academic and community partnerships as well as biblical integration. Her role will continue to include the A+ program and partnership with Summit Technology Academy.

Mrs. Charissa Sanders will be moving from her role as Elementary Vice Principal to the role of Elementary Principal. With more than 12 years of experience in education, Mrs. Sanders served as an SCA elementary teacher and was promoted to Vice Principal in 2013. She has also served as the elementary girls’ basketball coach.

Mrs. Julie Madsen will be moving from her role as Director of Early Education to Assistant Principal of Early Education, Godly Before and After School Program (GAP) and Camp Eagle Summit. Mrs. Madsen has been in education for eight years teaching at the Kindergarten and Early Education levels. She has served as SCA’s Director of the Early Education since 2014.

“With over 36 years of academic experience between them, Mrs. Gill, Mrs. Sanders, and Mrs. Madsen are committed to our mission to inspire students to achieve their God given potential through excellent academics and Christian training in a compassionate environment,” shared SCA Head of School Linda Harrelson. “All three of these educational leaders understand the SCA culture and the transformative education that it provides, along with the leadership opportunities that are fostered in each and every child in a Christian environment. I know that under their leadership that our students will continue excelling at SCA and our graduates will be world changers for Christ.”
