Leanne Wong of Overland Park, KS claimed the All-Around Gold medal in the junior division at the US Gymnastics Championships held in Boston, MA, August 16-20, 2018 and added her name to the list of contenders for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Wong added to her medal collection in the individual events by winning gold on the floor event and a silver on both bars and vault. Wong was also name as one of six members of the USA Jr. National Team.

Kara Eaker, Grain Valley, MO competed in the senior division, earned the silver for her beam routine and was one of 8 gymnasts selected to the USA Sr. National team. Eaker was one of five women named to the US Women’s team that will compete in the Senior Pan American Championships, Sept. 14-16, in Lima, Peru. The Championships serve as the qualification process for the 2019 Pan American Games, which will also be held in Lima, Peru.

All of these athletes train at the GAGE Center in Blue Springs, MO under the direction of Al Fong and Armine Barutyan.
