Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation invites you to the Ribbon Cutting and Dedication of Longview Community Center this Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The event will kick off at 10:00 a.m. with a ribbon cutting. Afterwards to public is welcome to take a free tour and use the facility.

The Metropolitan Community College’s Wolf mascot will be on hand from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.

An inflatable obstacle course will be set up in the gymnasium from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

In the lobby visitors can enjoy face painting from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and a balloon artist from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

Additionally there will be a mermaid in the pool area from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

The Longview Community Center is located at 3801 S.W. Longview Road in Lee’s Summit.
