Some interesting facts and figures from today’s Kansas City Chiefs loss to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game. 

The Chiefs were shut out in the game’s first half, the first time all season the team had been shutout in a half of play. The Chiefs finished with only 18 first downs compared to the Patriots 36. The Chiefs managed to score 31 points in 20:53 of possession time while the Pats scored 37 in 43:59. 

Chiefs were led in rushing by Damian Williams with 30 yards. Pat Mahomes led the team in passing with 295 yards and 3 touchdown passes. Before leaving the game due to injury WR Sammy Watkins led the game in receiving yards with 114. Damian Williams finished with 66. Dustin Colquitt punted 5 times and the team had two interceptions, one by Safety Daniel Sorenson, the other by LB Reggie Ragland. 

The Chiefs finished the season 13-5, 8-2 at home, 5-1 in the AFC West Division and 1-1 in the post season.
