Four Mason Elementary archers traveled to Columbia, Missouri, this past weekend to compete among over 1000 other archers from across the state. Max Bailey was the team’s highest scoring archer and ended up in 3rd place, fourth grade male archer. He was closely followed by Ryker Day whose score placed him 4th overall other fourth grade boys.

When asked about his archers, coach Steve Lanier said, “Our Mighty Mason Tigers are beginning to make themselves known, watch out archery world, we are just getting started!”

Mason Elementary’s archery program is coming to a close this year, however it will start up again next September for all 4th -6th graders interested in learning how to shoot International Olympic Style Archery through the National Archery in the Schools Program.
