Lee’s Summit West High School recently held an athletic nation letter of intent signing event. Student athletes included:

Hollyn Achens signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Metropolitan Community College-Blue River where she intends to study biology/pre-med.

Trent Brink signed a letter of intent to play football at William Jewell College where he will be studying data science. While at LSW he was a two time academic all-star, two time honorable mention all-conference, varsity captain and allowed no sacks in both years he started.

Jimmy Dietrich signed a letter of intent to compete in cross country and track and field at the University of Central Missouri. In his senior year of cross country he placed eighth in the state championship.

Hailey Hardin signed a letter of intent to compete in cross country and track and field at the University of Nebraska where she will be studying nursing.

Taylor Holtz signed a letter of intent to compete in cross country and track at Missouri State University where she will be studying nursing. She is a three time cross country state qualifier, three time track state qualifier, two time track state champion and all state in the 4×400.

Sydnee Kemp signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Sam Houston University. She is a four time all district and all conference player, 1,000 point career acheiver, two time all state player and McDonald’s All American.

Noah Kinder signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Central Methodist University where he will be studying physical therapy. While at LSW he served at varsity team captain.

Riley Lourens signed a letter of intent to compete in cross country and track at Missouri State University where she will be studying elementary education. She is a two time individual state qualifier and two time academic all state.

Sean Loseke signed a letter of intent to play football at Pittsburgh State University where his will be studying construction management. He received an honorable mention second team all state, second team all state and was a part of the Missouri MOKAN all star game.

Nick Lumbard signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Rockhurst University where he plans to go into pre-med. He received an all conference honorable mention, LSW most improved player, first team all district, first team all state, first team all conference midwest region team, Corban Garley Award, LSW defensive player of the year, all American watch list, suburban big 6 defensive player of the year, first team all conference suburban big 6, 2018 and 2019 academic letter and first team all district and first team all state.

Nathan Lyon signed a letter of intent to play fooball at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology where he will be studying civil engineering.

Cassie Reeve signed a letter of intent to compete in swimming at Illinois College where she will be studying health science and physical therapy.

Aaron Sanders signed a letter of intent to play lacrosse at Belmont Abbey Collect where he will be studying sports management.

Caitlyn Swinford signed a letter of intent to join the cheerleading program at the University of Central Missouri where she will be studying marketing. She is a four time varsity cheerleader and two time DECA state qualifier.

Lolly Wiley signed a letter of intent to join the Mystics Dance Team at Missouri Western State University where she will be studying zoology. She has been dancing since the age of three at Heart of American Dance Center, joined WSG as freshman through senior, went to nationals for the first time in WSG history where the group placed second in pom, fifth in jazz and fourth overall.
