Shooting Victim Identified

Raytown, MO– Raytown Police have identified the man that was killed in the early morning shooting on Wednesday (August 21, 2019) as Jerry L. Riley Jr., a 32-year-old Kansas City man.

Raytown Officers responded to the 11600 Block of E. 60th Street early Wednesday morning in response to a reported disturbance with shots fired inside of a home. Upon arrival, Officers found Mr. Riley inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds.

The investigation is ongoing, with no one charged at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline, 816-474-TIPS (8477.)

Raytown MO- At about 00:50 A.M. Wednesday, (August 21, 2019), Raytown Officers responded to the 11600 Block of E. 60th Street in response to a reported disturbance with shots fired inside of a home.

Upon arrival, Officers found a deceased adult male inside of a home with apparent gunshot wounds. Two adult females were taken into custody at the scene. The Raytown Police Department Investigations Bureau was notified and responded to the scene.

An active investigation is currently underway.
