Blue Springs at Lee’s Summit North (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
The game of the week that is being talked about while in line at area grocery stores for a reason. The Broncos upset the Wildcats in Blue Springs in 2018. Blue Springs is riding high after a home win against Rockhurst last week. The Wildcats prevails in an entertaining game at Broncos Stadium.
Lee’s Summit West at Blue Springs South
The LS West Titans are hot and coming off of a motivating home win last week. The Titans have too much on both sides of the ball and will win this contest against the Jaguars.
Staley at Lee’s Summit (Pub Pick of the Week)
The Tigers offense is on a roll scoring 69 points in the team’s last five quarters of play. This type of offense will be needed to overcome the stingy defense of the Staley Falcons. Tigers get the W on this night.
Clinton at Summit Christian Academy
Two games, two wins and a combined score of 96-0 tells me the Eagles at home will beat the Cardinals in this one.
St. Michael at Fair Grove
A long bus ride for the Gaurdians who are still searching for win #1 on the year. After a tough fight they will return home still looking for that win.
Ray-Pec at Rockhurst
Ray Pec gets the chore of playing Rockhurst on their home field and one week after a loss to rival Blue Springs. Not a recipe for success as the Panthers fall to the Hawklets in this one.
Raytown South at Raytown
A bragging rights battle here between two teams sitting at 1-1. The Blue Jays are at home and have Joe Campbell running their offense which will be good enough for a win on this night.
Central Methodist at Grand View (Iowa)
The HAAC game of the week finds this one being played at the home of the #12 NAIA team in the country. When it ends Grand View will show why they belong hire than that.
Washburn at Northwest Mo. State
The MIAA game of the week finds the Ichabods visiting the #7 ranked Bearcats. Expect a high scoring game and in the end the Bearcats will have the higher number.
Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland (Celebrity Forecaster-KCTV5 News, Abigael Jaymes)
The Raiders had a great game one when they beat Denver, but this week they have a date with the KC Chiefs. Despite a solid offense led by QB Derek Carr, their defense won’t hold up vs the Chiefs offense. Final will be Chiefs 33, Raiders 24.
