Truman at Lee’s Summit (Pub Pick of the week)
The Patriots have struggled all season long and they visit the Tigers who are hungry after a loss last week to undefeated Liberty North. Lee’s Summit will put some BIG points on the board as they win this one.
Lee’s Summit North at Blue Springs South
The Broncos have lost the last two weeks by 12 points in each game. Now they travel to play a Jaguars team who have won only two games this year but those wins have come in the last three weeks. Expect the Broncos to score a win in a close one when this contest is over.
Ray-Pec at Lee’s Summit West (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
A terrific match up here with the hot Panthers visiting a Titans group who have lost three in a row by a combined 14 points. The Titans, as long as they don’t turn the ball over, will claim a victory over a long time rival on this night.
Clinton at St. Michael (at Lee’s Summit North)
Clinton is winless on the year and the Guardians are looking forward to playing again at their normal home field. St. Michael’s scored first in their game last week, this week they will score enough for a third win on the season.
Lincoln College Prep at Summit Christian Academy
Many area sports fans have their sights on this one and for good reason. The Eagles have pitched five shutouts this season, Lincoln College has shutout three opponents. Both teams enter at 8-0 and possess high octane offenses. When it’s done the area sports fans will be impressed by another Eagles win.
North Kansas City at Raytown
Another tasty match up in week nine here as the Blue Jays host the undefeated Hornets. Three times NKC has scored more than 50 points to earn a win. This week they will earn another one on the road.
Grain Valley at Raytown South
Grain Valley head coach David Allie used to coach Ray South and now he brings his current group of Eagles to town. The Cardinals will try but will be unable to answer the Eagles charge as Coach Allie claims a road win in this one.
Blue Springs at Park Hill
A game here that ticket holders better get to early as the Wildcats, following a big home win a week ago, try for another up at Park Hill. The Trojans defense has shown to be a pretty tough one and thanks to them they will get a home victory here.
Central Oklahoma at Washburn (MIAA Game of the week)
In a meeting between two teams stuck in the middle of the conference standings one will get closer to the top thanks to a victory this week. The Ichabods are hot right now riding a two game winning streak and being at home will help too as they get win #4 on the year on this day.
KC Chiefs host Green Bay Packers (Celebrity Forecaster, Downtown Lee’s Summit Mailman Don)
The Chiefs are in prime time again and this time without QB Pat Mahomes. The Chiefs will benefit from playing at home and having 10 days off from their last game in Denver. An entertaining battle on Sunday night will end with a KC Chiefs 34-24 victory.
