Mike and Peggy Peterson of Lee’s Summit are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on November 29, 2019.

Mike is retired from Allstate Insurance, has been a Catholic Deacon for 15 years, and is the Chaplain for the Lee’s Summit Police Department.

Peggy is a retired teacher of 28 years in the Hickman Mills School District. She leads a grief support group and volunteers with hospice patients.

They have 6 children and 16 grandchildren.

A blessing will be said for the couple during the 4:30 p.m. mass at Our Lady of the Presentation, 130 NW Murray Rd, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081, on November 23, 2019 and all that know them are welcome to attend.
