St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School (SMA) Theatre Department present their annual fall musical, “Clue the Musical.” There are two casts performing four different shows! Shows begin at 7 p.m., November 14 -16 with a matinee beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. Performances will be at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School located at 2901 Lee’s Summit Road in Lee’s Summit. Prior to the matinee show on Saturday, SMA will host their annual Open House from 10:00 a.m. – noon.
This audience interactive show promises to engage the crime solvers – YOU – the audience into deducing the mystery: Who ousted “Boddy,” with what weapon, and in what room? Some unique audience opportunities will be on going with this show. Fun sized detective kits will be available to use and keep for $5.00, so your child can play along with the cast in putting together clues to solve the mystery! In addition, each ending of the 4 shows is completely based on the audience. Patrons draw the cards, just like the real-life game, which determines the end result of the crime! This means every show has a different ending!
Cast 1 will be performing on Thursday and Saturday evening. Cast 1 includes seniors Justin House and Fay Loftis. Other students include juniors Madeline Jackson, Domenick Bisacca, Charity Harris, Chloe Waller, Erin Kimbrell and sophomore Antonia Barrera.
Cast 2 will perform the shows on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Cast 2 also includes senior Justin House along with juniors Chloe Waller and Charity Harris. Other students include juniors Ruby Custer and Lanelle Cole, sophomore Sarah Ball, and freshmen Mary Ann Reddig and Joseph Rizzi.
Bundle packages are available for ticket purchasing: One student pass for 4 shows (limit one per customer) can be purchased for $20. 3-night passes are available for $15. Adult bundle passes (limit one per customer) are $32 for 4 shows or $25 for 3. Bundle passes are only available at the door for purchase.
Regular single show tickets are available at the door or through the school website smacatholic.org. Adults are $10 and Students are $8. All performances will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School in the gymnasium on the stage. For more information, call 816-763-4800.
