Cass County Collector of Revenue Chris Molendorp has released September 2020, property tax disbursement figures for Cass County’s local political subdivisions.

Molendorp announced $401,104.30 was disbursed to 52 separate local political subdivisions and the State of Missouri.

Cass County’s public school districts were the largest recipients with total disbursements of $239,438.56. Of those districts, Raymore-Peculiar R-2 received $85,823.42. Belton R-2 received $58,219.05. Harrisonville R-9 received $27,453.39.

The second largest recipients were Cass County’s cities and villages. In total, Molendorp disbursed $48,997.35 in this category with Belton receiving the most at $20,706.12. Raymore received $13,053.70. Pleasant Hill received $4,719.97.

Cass County’s fire and ambulance districts were the third largest recipients by category at $28,202.67. The South Metropolitan Fire and Ambulance District were the largest recipients in this category, receiving $14,100.02. West Peculiar Fire and Ambulance received $4,145.95 and Pleasant Hill Fire received $3,617.71.
